As a way to give back to my community I periodically reach out to local animal shelters and non-profits and offer my design skills. While often small, these are some of my favorite projects to work on because I get to give back to my community and use my work to help design a better world.
Meshoppen Cat Rescue
Logo Design
Poster Design & Layout
The Meshoppen Cat Rescue is a certified 501 C3 rescue near my hometown. They rescue homeless, sick, and unwanted cats. When I contacted them they didn’t have an official logo and were in need of posters to help bring awareness to their services. So I created a new logo for them to show that loving cats is the heart of their mission.
While designing the poster I first created the color version for use on social media and other web-based platforms. I then created simplified black and white versions for print platforms in order to lower the cost of printing so that The Meshoppen Cat Rescue can continue to focus their budget on helping cats in need.
